    Personal Training Specialist Course

    COURSE DESCRIPTION:  The Personal Training Specialist Course is a comprehensive in-class and online course designed to increase your knowledge and confidence level to train clients in a one-on-one or small group (2-3 people) setting. The course consists of on-line and in-class learning. The online course has been developed to provide an excellent online learning experience covering topics such as anatomy, biomechanics, and physiology. The comprehensive in-class course covers a wide range of topics preparing you for the exams and the career of a personal trainer!

    Balanced Bodies Course

    COURSE DESCRIPTION:  Personal trainers, fitness instructors, coaches, athletes and exercisers alike will learn to how to train the core and incorporate small apparatus equipment into group training for all levels. Balanced Bodies is a hands-on course in which participants learn how to train the core properly and incorporate postural assessment, good biomechanics, and injury prevention in a practical gym setting. Learning accurate exercise techniques will not only help participants to excel in the gym environment, such techniques will also transcend into activities of daily living.

    Bootcamp for All Levels Course

    COURSE DESCRIPTION:  Personal trainers and group exercise fitness instructors will learn safe and effective exercises for one on one or group training. Bootcamp for All Levels is a practical course in which participants will learn new exercises to keep their bootcamps safe, fun and interactive for all ages and fitness levels. Participants will learn a variety of exercises using body weight and small apparatus equipment. In addition participants will be taught techniques to help their bootcamps run smoothly with minimal risk of injury.

    Set the Body, Set the Mind Course

    Trainers, fitness instructors, coaches, athletes and exercisers alike can learn to set the body and the mind for safe and effective exercise. Set the Body and the Mind, is an interactive, hands-on workshop in which participants will uncover the benefits of applied sport psychology in a class room setting and learn how to use proper biomechanics for functional exercise and injury prevention in a practical gym setting. Learning accurate exercise techniques will not only help participants to excel in the gym environment, such techniques will also transcend into activities of daily living.

    Live with Passion: Enhancing Personal Power and Self Esteem

    Call to schedule your motivational presentation and empower your friends, family, students, and/or employees.

    This workshop is an all-out hands-on experience focusing on key exercises, video clips, group discussions, dynamic stories and progressive relaxation techniques.  Participants will be given a Live with Passion Workbook full of activities, inspirational literature, and empowering tools for self-evolution. Participants will learn about the law of attraction and how to practice it using a tool known as the “Vision Board”. The 2nd part of the workshop will take a deeper look into the use of the “Vision Board” and how you can use it as a tool to attract what you want out of life! Participants are encouraged to bring in personal artifacts to make an individualized “Vision Board”. Support for this workshop is provided by Northern Ontario Heritage Foundation. 

    1 day workshop: 2 hour morning presentation + 2 hour afternoon “Vision Board” workshop
    (This workshop could be divided into two days if desired)
